The Ministry of Labour and Employment, vide G.S.R. 935(E), has released the Draft notification of the Code on Social Security (Central) Rules, 2025. The draft rules lay down the framework for implementing the Code on Social Security, 2020, covering provisions related to social security organizations, contributions, benefits, registration, and welfare of employees, including gig and platform workers. Stakeholders have been invited to examine the draft and submit their comments or objections within the stipulated time as mentioned in the notification.
