The Government of NCT Delhi vide Notification F. No. 15(43)/Lab/2021/2262-2267 has released the Draft Notification of the Delhi Code on Social Security Rules, 2025. The proposed rules aim to strengthen the implementation of social security provisions related to provident fund, employee insurance, gratuity, maternity benefits, gig and platform workers, and other welfare measures under the Code on Social Security, 2020. The draft also focuses on enhancing labour compliance procedures and digital registration mechanisms for employers and establishments. Employers, HR professionals, and stakeholders are advised to review the draft notification carefully and submit objections or suggestions within the prescribed timeline.
