The Government of NCT Delhi vide Notification No. 15(12)/Lab/2022/4473-4479 has released the Draft Notification of the Industrial Relations (Delhi) Rules, 2025. The proposed rules are intended to streamline industrial relations, strengthen trade union recognition procedures, enhance dispute resolution mechanisms, and improve labour law compliance under the Industrial Relations Code, 2020. The draft also covers provisions relating to standing orders, grievance redressal committees, strikes, layoffs, retrenchment, and digital maintenance of records. Employers, HR professionals, and industry stakeholders are advised to review the draft notification carefully and submit objections or suggestions within the prescribed timeline.
