The Government of Haryana, vide Notification No. 28/67/2008-1HR-I, has declared Thursday, 28th May 2026, as a festival holiday on account of Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid). The notification has been issued to facilitate the observance of the important religious festival across the state. Government offices, institutions, and establishments covered under the holiday notification are expected to observe the declared holiday in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Employers, organizations, and stakeholders are advised to take note of the official declaration and make necessary administrative and operational arrangements accordingly.
