The Haryana Labour Welfare Board, vide Notification No. HLWB/REV/2026/3436 dated 08th May 2026, has revised the Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contribution ceiling effective from 1st January 2026. As per the updated notification, the employee contribution will continue to be calculated at 0.2% of salary, wages, or remuneration, subject to a revised maximum limit of βΉ35 per month per employee, increased from the earlier cap of βΉ34. Correspondingly, employers will contribute twice the employee contribution, up to a maximum of βΉ70 per employee per month. The revision impacts payroll and statutory compliance obligations for employers operating in Haryana, making timely implementation essential for compliance under the Labour Welfare Fund regulations.
