The Government of Meghalaya, vide Corrigendum No. GAA.78/2025/44, has revised the State Holiday date for Id-Ul-Zuha (Bakrid), specifying that the holiday will now be observed on 28th May 2026 instead of 27th May 2026. The corrigendum has been issued to align the official holiday declaration with the confirmed observance date of the festival. Government offices, establishments, and stakeholders within the state are advised to take note of the revised holiday schedule and ensure necessary administrative and operational adjustments accordingly.
